AIT
is the Regional Master Distributor of 3M Microtouch touch
screens. 3M Microtouch’s is the leading touch screens technology
company in the world and provides touch screens using its
Capacitive, Resistive and Near Field Imaging touch screen
technologies. Available from Are touch 3M Touch Screens for
sizes ranging from 6.7” to 23”.
3M MicroTouch™
ClearTek™ Capacitive Touch Screens
Extended Durability
for High-use Applications
MicroTouch™ ClearTek™ capacitive touch screens, manufactured by
3M Touch Systems, are the preferred touch solution for
applications that require fast, reliable and accurate touch
performance. The flat capacitive Profile sensor incorporates
advanced construction and production techniques that result in a
thin, sleek design which provides easy installation into flat
panel displays and flat CRTs.

Product Features
- Transparent coating significantly increases durability by
resisting scratches and abrasions
- Performance unaffected by everyday contaminants in the
environment
- Accurate, fast, reliable touch response
- Narrow border for easy integration
- Connects to the new EX II electronics platform
- ClearTek capacitive touch screens available in both flat and
curved
3M MicroTouch™
5-Wire Resistive Touch Screen
Touch Solutions for
Point of Sale, Hospitality, and Industrial Applications Fast,
accurate, and affordable, MicroTouch™ 5-wire FG (Film on Glass)
resistive technology from 3M Touch Systems is the preferred
solution for applications that require input flexibility and
fast response time.
Point of Sale, Hospitality, and Industrial environments benefit
from an environmentally robust solution and the 5 year warranty.
Built with durability in mind, MicroTouch 5-wire resistive touch
screens incorporate progressive design procedures that include a
robust insulated layered construction and integral tail design.

Product
Highlights
- Recognizes touch input from stylus, finger, gloved hand, pen
or tool
- Integral tail design built for durability
- Environmentally robust with insulator layers protecting
circuitry in high temperatures and humidity
- Fast response time
- Offered in current driven mode or voltage gradient mode
providing choices in electronics
3M MicroTouch™ Near
Field Imaging Projected Capacitive Touch Screen
High Performance in
Extreme Environments MicroTouch™ Near Field Imaging touch
screens are the preferred touch solution for applications that
require extreme durability in harsh environments. NFI projected
capacitive technology is accurate enough to control equipment
precisely, yet sensitive enough to detect finger touches through
gloves. Ideally suited for harsh environments, NFI touch screens
withstand high pressure washdowns common in industrial or
automotive manufacturing and are unaffected by most surface
contaminants found in factory automation, utilities and mining
environments.

Product
Highlights
- Outdoor Environments Performs consistently and accurately in a
wide range of environmental conditions, including outdoor
applications.
- Extreme Durability Operation unaffected by most surface
damage, including scratches, caused by abrasives, chemicals or
vandalism.
- Ruggedized Shock Resistance Withstands significant shock and
vibration without jeopardizing safety or performance.
- Input Flexibility Operates with gloves through moisture, dirt
and other surface contaminants, as well as with a conductive
stylus.
AIT CTII and Resistive Tough Touch Screen
AIT Tough Touch is a touch screen with a layer of strengthened glass laminated to the back. AIT Tough Touch provides increased impact-resistance for flat sensors in industrial, unattended, or vandal-prone environments. AIT Tough Touch offers the same level of performance and as the original 3M Capacitive or Resistive Touch Screen with added impact resistance.
AIT is the only company that offer 3M Resistive Tough Touch. Using its proprietary Cold Glass Bonding Process AIT is able to have an additional 6mm Ultra Clear glass bonded to 3M resistive touch screen. The AIT 3M Resistive Touch Touch has the same performance as original touch screen.

Dispersive Signal Technology
(DST)
Dispersive Signal Technology (DST) is a break-through touch
technology offering a fundamentally different approach to touch.
Unlike other solutions that recognize touch by the interruption
of electrical fields, acoustic waves, optical fields or infrared
light, Dispersive Signal Technology recognizes touch through
vibrations made to the substrate.
